The EPIC-Norfolk study began in 1993 and was based first at the Institute of Public Health (IPH), before moving to Strangeways Research Laboratories (SRL). At the end of 2018 it became part of the MRC-Epidemiology Unit. The success of the study is a result of the wide range of people who have worked on it over the years.
